Adopt-A-Book Program

As we continue to add new publications to the collection, we cannot abandon our commitment to preserving the extensive and unique assortment of items with historical interest to our industry. We are beginning to focus more closely on preservation of our historical publications and documents. The old books, artifacts and insurance ephemera we hold in our collection require that attention be paid to their physical condition so that they can be maintained for years to come. Your donation could help insure their very survival.

We have started the Adopt-A-Book program so that you can see where exactly your donation is going. We will make sure a personalized book plate is put in the front, so users know whose generosity ensured future use of the material.

Below you will see a sample picture and the title of the book(s) you can click on the picture to see more pictures and find out more about the book.

Please note, that because the books are repaired by hand, the work is not always completed very quickly. If you do adopt a book we will let you know when the repair is finished.
