Tiffany's Special Agents and Adjusters Assistant and Digest of Depreciations Fact Sheet

The preface to the tenth edition (the copy the library has) begins: "Our Special Agents and Adjusters Assistant is, beyond doubt, the best and most practical work of its kind ever published, and one that fully meets the wants of the practical field worker of the profession. The tenth edition with the addition of many rules, formulas, tarrifs, legal decisions and other important data will prove of increased value to the entire underwriting fraternity of the country." The book has obviously been consulted frequently. As you can see from the pictures below, our much used copy is beyond repair because of how brittle the pages are and how poor the binding is at this point. While the book retains its beauty with marbled edges, and fading gilt, the best that can be done for it at this point is to put it in a custom made clam shell box to prevent further decay.
